Ingredients

Scale

Pasta

  • 1 pound bowtie pasta

Protein

  • 1 pound ground beef

Sauce Ingredients

  • 8 ounces cream cheese
  • 1 cup heavy cream
  • 3/4 cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 tablespoon Cajun seasoning
  • 3 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 small onion, chopped
  • 2 tablespoons butter
  • 1 tablespoon olive oil
  • 1/2 teaspoon salt
  • 1/2 teaspoon black pepper
  • 2 tablespoons chopped fresh parsley (optional)

Instructions

  1. Cook the Pasta: Bring a large pot of salted water to a boil and cook the bowtie pasta until al dente. Drain and set aside.
  2. Brown the Beef: In a large skillet over medium heat, heat olive oil. Add the ground beef and break it apart with a wooden spoon. Cook until browned and fully cooked. Season with Cajun seasoning, salt, and black pepper. Remove the beef from the skillet and set aside.
  3. Sauté the Aromatics: In the same skillet, add butter. Sauté the chopped onion and minced garlic until soft and fragrant to build the flavor base of the sauce.
  4. Make the Alfredo Sauce: Add the cream cheese to the skillet and stir until melted and smooth. Pour in the heavy cream, stirring constantly until the sauce thickens slightly. Stir in the grated Parmesan cheese and adjust seasoning with additional Cajun seasoning, salt, or pepper as desired.
  5. Combine Ingredients: Return the cooked ground beef to the skillet and mix to coat it evenly in the sauce. Add the drained pasta and gently fold everything together to fully coat the bowties with the sauce. Allow everything to warm through for a couple of minutes.
  6. Serve: Plate the pasta and garnish with chopped fresh parsley and extra Parmesan cheese if desired. Serve hot and enjoy immediately.

Notes

  • Use freshly grated Parmesan cheese for the best flavor and texture in the sauce.
  • Adjust the amount of Cajun seasoning to match your preferred spice level.
  • When reheating leftovers, add a splash of milk or cream to help restore the creamy sauce consistency.
  • Store leftovers in an airtight container in the refrigerator for up to 3 days.
