  4. Make the gravy base: Sprinkle the flour over the beef mixture and cook for 1-2 minutes, stirring often to remove the raw flour taste and create a roux.
  5. Incorporate beef broth: Gradually pour in the beef broth while stirring to dissolve the flour completely. Scrape the bottom of the pan to loosen any browned bits for extra flavor.
  6. Simmer to thicken: Continue cooking the gravy over medium heat for 5-10 minutes, stirring occasionally, until it thickens to your desired consistency. If it becomes too thick, add a splash more beef broth.
  7. Combine noodles and beef gravy: Add the drained egg noodles to the skillet and toss gently to coat the noodles evenly with the beef gravy.
